Network fees: TRON, Ethereum, BSC

When you transfer crypto, the fee is charged by the blockchain network (not just the exchanger). The fee size depends on the network and its load, and it is worth factoring in when choosing an exchange direction.

How fees work

  • TRON (TRC20) — the fee is usually low and stable; the network is popular for stablecoin transfers.
  • Ethereum (ERC20) — the fee (gas) floats and depends on network load; during high activity transfers are more expensive.
  • BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) — generally low fees.

What the final cost depends on

  1. Transfer network — the main factor (see above).
  2. Network load — during peak hours the ERC20 fee rises.
  3. Exchanger rate — separate from the network fee; compared in the monitor.

Practical takeaway

For frequent stablecoin transfers people more often pick TRC20 or BEP20 because of low fees. For compatibility with Ethereum-ecosystem services they use ERC20, budgeting for a higher fee.
