Halving is the scheduled 50% cut of the Bitcoin block reward, every 210,000 blocks (about every 4 years). The next one is at block 1,050,000.

Every 210,000 blocks the miner block reward is cut in half, reducing new BTC issuance. Halvings are associated with market cycles, but there is no guaranteed price move — this is not a forecast.
