Monitor FAQ

What is the professional rate monitor?

It is a free RateScout tool: it shows currency rates from BestChange exchanger-monitoring data (prices in USDT, hourly updates) and lets you build your own terminal from panels — charts, watchlist, top movers, heatmap, screener, search demand. No install or sign-up.

Is it free and do I need to register?

Fully free and no sign-up. The monitor buys and sells nothing — it only shows and compares numbers.

Where does the data come from and how often is it updated?

From BestChange exchanger monitoring; each currency's price is in USDT, updated hourly. These are reference figures for comparison, not an offer — the real rate is confirmed on the exchanger side.

How is the Terminal different from Classic?

Classic is a single chart with checkboxes. Terminal is a multi-panel mode: several windows (charts, watchlist, movers, heatmap, screener, demand) you can drag, resize, tile and save.

How do I add a currency to the chart?

Click a currency in any window (a list, heatmap, screener, demand panel) — it is added to the active chart; click again to remove it. Currencies already on the chart are marked with a dot in every window.

What is the active chart?

It is the chart window you clicked last (highlighted). Clicks on currencies in other windows go to the active chart. If no chart exists, the first click creates a new one.

What does Valued in mean?

The currency price and change are measured against. USDT by default; pick any — e.g. BTC to see dynamics relative to bitcoin. The terminal has a global selector; the heatmap can have its own.

Can I save and share my workspace?

Yes. The layout is remembered in the browser, and the Link button encodes the whole set of windows into a URL you can share or bookmark; the link reopens the same workspace.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes — panels stack into a single column and reading and clicking work the same. Features awkward on a small screen (dragging windows, fullscreen) are hidden on mobile.

Is this an exchange? Can I swap here?

No. RateScout is an independent rate-monitoring service and does not process exchanges. After choosing a direction you make the deal on the exchanger side; verify the rate and reserve there. 18+.
