An app or device for storing keys and managing crypto. It can be hot (online) or cold (offline).

A hot wallet (an online app) is convenient for frequent operations but more vulnerable; a cold one (hardware/offline) is more reliable for storage. Whoever owns the private key and seed phrase owns the funds, so they must never be shared. It is wise to keep large sums in a cold wallet and only a working balance in a hot one.
